Glasswells Win Top Industry Award Again
Home furnishings store Glasswells wins a prestigious industry award the 4th time in the last six years.
Awarded by the AIS (Associated Independent Stores), the AIS Member of the Year is a highly acclaimed award, well recognised throughout the UK's independent retailers.
With a meticulous judging process, each retailer is scored by its suppliers in all areas of their business from the staffs' product knowledge and professionalism, after sales service and customer care through to the quality of store displays and the overall perception that the store provides their valued customers. It also covers the company's administrative procedures and even down to how well the products are stored in their newly extended 67,000 sq ft Glasswells Storage and Distribution Centre in Kempson Way.
The Award is highly sought after within the independent retailer industry and winning it again proves Glasswells' consistency when it comes to their entire offering, from the thousands of products available within their stores throughout East Anglia, to the emphasis they always put on providing outstanding one-to-one customer service, something that often sets Glasswells apart from the rest.
Having won the top award in 2003, 2005, 2006 and now in 2008, coming second in 2007, the staff are absolutely delighted.
